Among other outstanding live performing arts events, the McCain Auditorium hosts its annual performing arts series, where the University brings in top-shelf national and international acts across a wide breadth of disciplines and genres.  The series parallels the school year, beginning in September and wrapping up in May, with the series’ slate announced during the summer.  For parking info for The McCain (and for most of your on-campus parking needs), K-State has developed a handy-dandy interactive parking map which can give a warm-fuzzy to anyone not familiar with campus.  Other K-State parking info can be found here

If you’d like to transform your cultured evening into a whole Manhattan adventure, parking in Aggieville or City Park and walk to a local restaurant before or after hitting The McCain.  But, undoubtably, the coolest way to get to The McCain is by bike, and the auditorium and nearby Aggieville are very bike friendly with most of Manhattan being less than a 10-minute ride away.  I can see us now!  In our fancy clothes riding our bikes into Aggieville to meet our other cultured friends for dinner before cruising over for the performance.  Good times!
